While I suppose we technically have a few days left, the odds that I’ll finish another book in that time are slim. So I’m calling it a year. Here is my final list of all the books I read in 2010.
As you will see, I tend to fall into what I call “author ruts,” where I start reading one author’s books and then read four or five of them in a row. This phenomenon occurs most often when an author writes a series or a group of linked / interrelated books.
One of my goals for 2011 is to spread things out a bit more and switch up authors after each finished book. I could also use a good dose of fantasy, non-fiction and a smattering of literary fiction as well. I need to remind myself that there is more to life than YA and historical romance. Having said that though, I think I did pretty damn well this year.
(Please note: the links go to Amazon. I love my readers, but (a) I don’t review every book I read and (b) ain’t no way I was trolling through my archives to find all those links. Sorry.)
