Every year, I challenge myself to read at least 50 books unrelated to work (or, when I was in school, unrelated to school). Some years I’m wildly successful, others…not so much. I read mostly fiction, though I try to throw in some nonfiction just to balance things out every now and then. I don’t always love every book that winds up on the list, but that’s the fun of finding new things to read.
